FAQs
What is PACE?
PACE is a program that provides a unique and effective way to empower your teenagers and equip them with essential life and socials skills. This teen group utilizes a research-based framework combining the ACT Matrix with the science of behavior. Our inclusive, low-pressure environment will allow teens to develop friendships with peers while being their authentic self.
What is the ACT Matrix?
Aligned with the science of behavior, the ACT Matrix (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) is a powerful tool designed to develop self-awareness, promote mindful decision-making, and foster positive behavioral changes.
What are some benefits of joining the group?
Enhance Social Skills: Our program promotes effective communication, active listening, empathy, and conflict resolution. Your teenager will develop the necessary skills to build healthy relationships and navigate various social situations with confidence.
Improve Emotional Well-being: Through the ACT Matrix, your teenager will learn to identify and manage their emotions, reduce stress, and cultivate resilience. They will develop valuable coping mechanisms to tackle hurdles and setbacks both in school and in their personal lives.
Boost Self-esteem and Confidence: By exploring their personal strengths, values, and goals, your teenager will gain a deep understanding of themselves. This self-awareness will empower them to make choices aligned with their values, resulting in increased confidence and self-esteem.
Maximize Academic Potential: Our group program also focuses on teaching effective study skills, time management, and motivation techniques. Your teenager will learn to set realistic goals, stay organized, and maintain focus, enabling them to excel academically.
Promote Independence and Accountability: We believe in fostering independence and promoting accountability among teenagers. Through our group sessions, your teenager will develop self-discipline, problem-solving abilities, and a sense of responsibility, preparing them for a successful transition to adulthood.
Our dedicated team of skilled facilitators will guide your teenager through engaging activities, group discussions, and exercises tailored to their specific needs. We provide a safe and supportive environment, encouraging open communication and personal growth.
Where is PACE located?
We have a space on the border of Vero Beach and Fort Pierce where the teen group will take place. Participants in our coaching program will also have access to an online portal to be used for communicating with their coaches and peers.
